SurfProfiles.com was created by surfers for surfers and everyone who is interested in this sacred art form.  Up until now the surf media has focused primarily on Professional Surfing, Professional Surfing Pictures, Pro Surfer Profiles, Contests, and big name surf companies.  SurfProFiles.com will continue this focus, while also creating a window into the rest of the surfing world. The raw surfing photos, interviews, stories, and surf videos/films, of all surfers around the world.  From the bellydropping beginners to the hardcore, underground chargers; from the surf photographers and journalists to the inside words from the top pros, from a surf fan at Huntington Beach to the little kids surfing for the first time on part of an old board in a country you have never heard of.

SurfProFiles.com will provide the ability to create personal profiles. SurfProFiles.com will have an extensive searchable profile database that will allow everyone to find world-wide: surf spots, board shops, surfboard shapers, surf photographer, surf coaches, surf competitions, surf camps and schools, surf-friendly places to stay on trips and other surf related businesses. SurfProFiles.com will provide a channel to teach, learn, and share the experience of surfing.

PROFILES
Profiles are the foundation of our surf community.  Creating a profile is how you can, share your photos (surf, travel, friends, scenery, etc.), fill out an interview, and add friends to your network.  You can let everyone hear the music you made or like, and keep a live surf journal on where you go and what you do.  You can share the spots you have surfed and if a spot is not listed you can add and post pictures.  You can have a "Wish List" of the things you always wanted but was never able to purchase in your own wish list, and you can sell items in an online classified section.

Posting a profile is an excellent way to connect with people in the surf world and improve your experience as a surfer.  You can find photographers and filmers, to shoot your next session, sponsors to help your surf career, and friends at new surf locations to which you want to travel.

The categories for profiles include: surfer, photographer, filmer, sponsor, surf shop, surf company, surf association and organization, surf camp, surf club, surf school.
